Use
The multi-purpose Best Friend Repeltec scarf provides additional protection against ticks, mosquitoes and fleas. Repeltec provides effective, hypoallergenic, odourless and non-toxic additional protection against ticks and other insects for dogs, cats and people alike. It is environment-friendly and safe for water bodies and aquatic organisms.
The scarf provides excellent protection on the head and neck against nasty insects for berry pickers, outdoor enthusiasts and hunters. On pets, it protects the neck and chest, to which ticks often attach first.
Repeltec insect protection treatment is permanently integrated in the fabric. The active ingredient, IR3535®, is a synthetic amino acid (Ethyl Butylacetylaminopropionate) that affects the insects’ olfactory sense without harming them. The technology, developed by the German pharmaceutical company Merck in the 1970s, has been used in repellents for decades and has been found safe for humans, pets and the environment in numerous tests. The technology is approved by the WHO and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Scarf size 55 x 55 cm.
